How Many Hotel Rooms?
November 28, 2008 by The Vegas Tourist
According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Las Vegas has 132,000 hotel rooms! We still maintain an overall occupancy rate of 90.7% (National average is 63%). Yea Baby!!
The MGM, with over 5,000 rooms in one structure, is still considered the worlds largest hotel. The Venetian has more rooms, but divided amongst several towers.
Compare that to:
1970: 25,000 Rooms
1980: 45,000 Rooms
1990: 73,000 Rooms
2000: 124,000 Rooms
