While we were all nice and warm in the Thomas and Mack, waiting for NFR to begin – a few thousand brave NASCAR fans were bundled up, waiting on the NASCAR Parade of Champions. It was windy, wet and near freezing!

The parade was led by season champion and all around nice guy, Tony Stewart in the Office Depot #14 car.

To do what these boys get to do… Travel the Strip without traffic and do the burnouts!! The first year, the County stipulated that only the champion could do a burnout. But most of them did. Last year a couple of them did it. This year it was “Just Be Safe, ok??”

Tony Stewart’s Team-Mate Ryan Newman provided some of the FIREWORKS For the Afternoon when he blew an engine!
I love NASCAR… is it March yet??
