You know things are bad when I lead the post with a photo of the Miss America contestants and not a photo from the porn convention being held at the same time!

The 2011 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), also referred to as the porn convention, keeps getting smaller and more desperate every year. What is there now is just pathetic compared to just a few years ago. The event has shrank considerably in both size and what/who is presented.
To make up for what they lack in content, they make up for in marketing by selling an $80 “fan experience.” This lets the fans of adult entertainment in to gawk, gaze and drool over their favorite porn actress while looking over the newest in adult toys and entertainment.
Unfortunately for them, some of the best in adult products have skipped the sleazy AEE and jumped over to the Consumer Electronics Show! Where professional models and people who look real can talk intelligently about the products.
My advice: Hang on to your $80 and spend it gambling at the Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood, where you will see more action while getting free booze! At the going rate, they should be able to hold the 2012 AEE at the newly remodeled Plaza in Downtown! With plenty of room to spare.
Speaking of the Pleasure Pit at Planet Hollywood… The 53 perfectly pomped and pooffied Miss America Pageant drones arrived and have settled in at Planet Hollywood. Their home in Las Vegas since 2006.
They will all be paraded around town like good little ladies and shown off to the media doing all kinds of meaningless things in order to look perfect and pretty to the judges, the media and any well financed man looking for the ultimate trophy wife.
And The Winner Is…
The one contestant who can best remember to cite the pledge to promise to save the world , the environment and the children, all while wearing a bathing suit, will be crowned the winner on Saturday, January 15 on ABC television. Amazingly, tickets are still available!!
Sorry for the sarcasm. Still kind of feeling the burn from when we officially covered the event and we ran into so much hypocrisy that it made politics look honest. The biggest insult was when one of the many pageant mothers who easily tipped the scales at over 400 pounds, called Sazzy fat!
