Yes my friends, its starting to look like a real little city in the middle of the big neon city. City Center is starting to shape up nicely. The first hotel to open later this year (we hope) is called Aria and at least its website is working. ARIA Resort
City Center will even have its own monorail weaving between all the empty buildings. Here is the latest picture from the job site. Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy doesn’t it??!
I know, I know… Its hard to believe but Vegas will soon have a monorail that people will actually want to ride and one that will go places where people really need to go to. Like to the Monte Carlo and The Bellagio. Making the trek a little easier.
For some of us who have been here awhile, this is nothing new. There used to be a little tram that went between these two places before. It was just down more than it was up… Plus the new place will have moving sidewalks out front and plenty of open (and empty) spaces for the general public to enjoy!!
And what new Las Vegas resort can be complete without… A Cirque Du SoLame show… The one planned for the City Center will be an Elvis themed show. What an original idea…. A Elvis show….
