The Phantom is alive and well and living in social media!! yes, the folks at Phantom – The Vegas Spectacular, wondered if you’ve ever wanted to don one of the world’s most iconic masks?? Now there us a new application on Facebook that gives you the chance.
After thousands of performances over five years, Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular is celebrating by giving fans the opportunity to show the world just how much they love the music of the night with the Phantom Mask Maker application.
With a few clicks of the mouse, fans can transform themselves into “The Phantom” for the Facebook community to see. Designed by the Las Vegas office of Situation Interactive, the application allows fans to upload a photo, or use their Facebook profile picture, and position the iconic Phantom mask in just the right spot to turn themselves from beauty to beast. To complete the look, fans choose from two different Phantom picture frames celebrating the fifth anniversary of the critically acclaimed show at The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas. Then, with just one click fans can set the image as their Facebook profile picture or email it directly to friends.
Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular is also celebrating its fifth anniversary on The Strip with a special ticket offer. For performances through September 4, guests can purchase two tickets for just $99. Currently the only production of Phantom in North America outside of Broadway, Phantom—The Las Vegas Spectacular is a 95-minute one-of-a-kind production set in a breathtaking $40 million theatre and featuring dazzling special effects.
The two for $99 ticket offer is valid through September 4, 2011 and is not valid on previously purchased tickets. Other restrictions may apply and management reserves all rights.
