Now I realize that this is may not be a first… but, it did come as a surprise to many who were there. That the happiest Mayor in the universe would dare to show up to a ribbon cutting event without his showgirls?? Tell me it isn’t so??
But, there he was leading the parade for Carlos Santana at the dedication ceremony for the new Joint at the Hard Rock Resort. The look on his face I guess says it all. No showgirls, no smile…
I will write more later about the new Joint, it’s an impressive concert venue and puts the Hard Rock back on the map for being The Place to attend a concert or other event. But, the big news of the night is really the Mayor minus showgirls….
Come on… What is the Mayor doing at an event without his showgirls?? That’s just not right.
