The snobs have the Cosmopolitan opening to rave about, we have something tastier… Legendary fast food restaurant Steak ‘N Shake has finally opened west of the Mississippi and they chose Las Vegas to do it!!
I’m thinking this is an early Christmas present for some of us fast food junkies from the Midwest. However, to be honest, we keep hoping (praying?) for a White Castle to come here, but we will certainly take a Steak ‘n Shake for now.
Steak ‘n Shake is the second oldest restaurant chain in America, just behind White Castle and like White Castle, they never built a restaurant in the western United States. Until Now. Best of all, they put it at the South Point. One of our favorite haunts…
If you have lived west of the Mississippi all your life and wonder what the heck all the fuss is about, think In-N-Out mixed with a smidgen of Johnny Rockets and you kind of get the idea…
Due to scheduling conflicts, we couldn’t make it for the grand opening, but we were there by proxy!! Trust me, even if Sazzy can only have the kid’s meal, look for a full in-person review real soon!
