It’s hot, it’s hot, it’s hot…. But at least I am not shoveling snow…. Summer is on in Vegas Baby!
The sun is sizzling and so is the summer time entertainment. Not just around the pools, but everywhere in town. We may be missing a few thousands tourists, but that’s not stopping the fun!
Of course the World Series of Poker is running right now. Over 60,000 entries for the 57 events. For the Main Event, over 6,000 people paid $10,000 to see how good they really are.
The total 2009 prize pool surpassed $174 million and, for only the second time in WSOP history, every member of the Main Event final table will win $1 million or more.
Several of the well known players have already busted out and its only day 3! This continues to show you that anyone has a shot at the big prize. And I am still betting that come November, there will be a lady at the Final Table!!

This weekend is Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). The UFC hits 100 this weekend. Plus they have UFC Fan Zone at Mandalay Bay.
Meanwhile, we will be over at the Orleans Arena covering the Tuff-N-Uff event. This one will match up some of the best women in MMA. I am thinking this should be like some serious cat fights with a referee!! Sazzy thinks I may be getting a little too excited over this one. But these ladies are amazing fighters. Looking forward to it!!
