Rated as one of the top tourist attractions in America, The Fountains of Bellagio. The playlist and fountain schedule as of March 2017. The most up to date song list I have found so far.
The Fountains of Bellagio – Soaring, iconic fountains featuring dramatic aquatic shows choreographed with music & lights.
The iconic fountains spring to life usually every half-hour between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m., and every 15 minutes from then to midnight. They are sitting in an 8.5-acre man-made lake where the front of the Dunes hotel and casino once sat. It’s made of 1,214 spritzers shooting water up to 460 feet in the air — the water rockets and dances, perfectly choreographed to over 30 different songs including Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly or even the more modern electronic music of Tiesto!
Two minutes before a water show starts, you can see the nozzles begin to break the water surface and the lights will start to illuminating the hotel tower. Shows may be canceled without warning because of high winds or inclement weather. A single show may be skipped to avoid interference with a planned event. Additional shows can occur for special occasions including weddings (or tourists getting the opportunity to push the big green button to see it happen!)
Changes with the Seasons
The list of songs are like the Bellagio Conservatory inside, they change with the seasons. They will rotate certain pieces of music out for the holidays, a major event in las Vegas or a special performance happening in town. The Fountains of Bellagio song list is updated and available from the concierge desk.
A Water Show in the Desert?
The water for the lake is not from Lake Mead or any other municipal water source. It is actually serviced by a freshwater well that was drilled back in the 40’s to irrigate a golf course that previously existed on the site. The Bellagio fountains actually use less water than irrigating the golf course did!
